Mathemagician and Harvey Mudd College mathematics professor Art Benjamin was the inaugural 2020 American Backgammon Tour Online (ABTO) with the best overall performance in a series of 17 national tournaments. Art also writes a regular column for PrimeTime Backgammon Magazine.

Karen Davis, PhD, was inducted into the American Backgammon Hall of Fame in 2021. She is president of the U.S. Backgammon Foundation and Chairman 2010-2017; President/Executive Director 2017-2020 of the U.S. Backgammon Federation. Among her many achievements include, 2021 American Backgammon Hall of Fame induction; 2021 Ultimate Backgammon Contender one of 13 qualified participants Marbella Spain; Member, Team USA in 2021 World Backgammon Federation World Team Championship in Trier Germany, and many more.
